Full Time Clubhouse Manager for Private Golf Club
Our Outlaw Clubhouse is looking for a full time, salaried Clubhouse Manager to operate our Southwestern-themed restaurant and its Front of House staff.

Currently we are seeking a Full Time Clubhouse Manager for our AZ Grill at Outlaw restaurant.
This position will work closely with the Director of Club Operations in generating processes to minimize the costs of operations and improve efficiency in the clubhouse operation. This position is a salaried position with multiple direct reports, including Assistant Clubhouse Manager, servers, bussers, food runners, greeters, valets and beverage cart specialists.   

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  1. Interviews, hires Food and Beverage management and hourly staff.  

  2. Produces annual sales and expense budgets for Food and Beverage departments.

  3. Manages labor and expenses to achieve budgetary standards.

  4. Devises and implements policies and procedures for the Clubhouse.

  5. Approves Employee Schedule Requests, Time off requests and Vacation schedules.

  6. Works closely with Management Staff to assure proper completion of  employee progressive disciplinary documentation.

  7. Greets members and guests and oversees actual service on a regular basis.

  8. Addresses member and guest complaints and advises Director of Club Operations about corrective actions taken.

  9. Continues development of DMC F&B training and procedures manual.

  10. Ensures appearance, upkeep and cleanliness of all Food and Beverage, Locker Room and Clubhouse facilities.

  11. Monitors employee dress codes according to policies and procedures.

  12. Attends management and staff meetings as scheduled.

  13. Undertakes special projects as requested by the Director of Club Operations.

  14. Assists members in arranging for special dinner requests in the dining room.

  15. Applies specific training and testing for new hires within the department.

  16. Supervises the development and pricing of the restaurants and bar menus.

  17. Develops, with the Sommelier, restaurant's Wine List to meet or exceed budgeted sales and costs.

  18. Works with the Catering Manager and Banquet Manager on Club events and Golf events.

  19. Manages and/or assists the Banquet Manager for indoor and outdoor Club events and Golf events.  

  20. Promotes Clubhouse activities and special events through calendar updates, web site postings, lobby signs and direct mail advertisement.

  21. Conducts periodic staff reviews and make salary recommendations.

  22. Conducts periodic service staff educational and training sessions.

  23. Conducts periodic employee reviews and completes appropriate status change forms.

  24. Coordinates search efforts for position vacancies with HR.

  25. Processes work orders and follows up on completion of tasks performed for the restaurants and patio areas.

  26. Assumes other responsibilities as given by the Director of Club Operations.

  27. Maintains a friendly and helpful attitude that will encourage all employees to do the same in order to instill pride in their jobs and their appreciation for Desert Mountain Club and its members. 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS OR EQUIVALENT:
Minimum three (3) years experience in a four-star or equivalent property in similar position.  Highly knowledgeable in service, wine and culinary techniques. Formal and casual and banquet service experience. College education preferred, but not required depending on experience.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
Must have the ability to provide the highest level of customer service in the industry.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Must be detail oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task.
A proven leader with the ability to be a team player.
Hospitality experience required.

UNUSUAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
Must be able to work days/nights, weekends and holidays. This position is frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position is routinely required to stand for long periods of time.  

SALARY:
$65,000 per year, DOE
