Part Time Spa DESK Receptionist


Greets members with enthusiasm and professionalism while always providing the highest level of exceptional customer service.

RATE: $13 per hour

JOB DUTIES:
  1. Properly opens and/or closes the spa each day according to Standard Operating Procedures.

  2. Accurately books, changes and cancels spa appointments.

  3. Acknowledges and greets everyone who enters and leaves the spa facilities.

  4. Provides detailed descriptions of spa treatments, packages, services, facility features and hours of operation.

  5. Utilizes spa computers with skill and proficiency.

  6. Answers the phone promptly and uses the member/ guest name throughout the phone conversation.

  7. Issues spa lockers, robes and slippers to members/guest and escorts them to their lockers.

  8. Provides orientation tour, explaining spa amenities offered and answering all questions.

  9. Maintains a safe, clean and well-organized spa environment through consistent monitoring of the spa facility.

  10. Stocks locker room supplies and amenities throughout the day.

  11. Maintains a professional relationship with all employees, members and guests.

  12. Provides consistent professional member/guest service.
  13. Is flexible with schedule, supporting the needs of the spa.

  14. Properly cares for equipment and uses proper amounts of product to assist with cost control.

  15. Has complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products with the ability to educate and train members and guests in these areas.

  16. Actively promotes home care products and programs.

  17. Upholds the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa's policies and procedures.

  18. Properly cleans and restocks areas as required.

  19. Communicates to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.

  20. Actively promotes the spa, treatments, services, and retail, as well as programs, promotions and / or discounts.

  21. Handles all member and guests questions and concerns professionally and courteously.

  22. Provides accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by members and guests, ensuring complete satisfaction.

  23. Possess ability to work without direct supervision.

  24. Maintains a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.

  25. Regularly attends, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.

  26. Assists in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.  

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS OR EQUIVALENT:
High School Diploma or GED

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
Must have basic computer skills.
Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task.
Ability to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment.
Must possess basic math and money handling skills.
Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills.
Enjoys working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality.
Excellent communication and listening skills, as well as basic computer knowledge.
Must be a team player.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Three years of customer service experience preferred.

UNUSUAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

Must be able to work holidays, nights and weekends as required.
